ABOUT ZEF

The Z – Empowerment Foundation, also known as the ZEF, is a non-governmental, non-political, non-profit organization, working in the areas of development, women’s capacity building and humanitarian aid.

MISSION & HISTORY.

The ZEF logo is an artistic shape and design combined of Farsi (بنیاد توانمندسازی ز) and English Z – Empowerment Foundation.

The organization was founded on July 16, 2020 (Asad 26, 1399) by a group of fellow Afghan intellectuals and social activists from different regions of Afghanistan.

ZEF rejects all discriminations, including racial, ethnic, gender, language, religious, political ideology, economic or social status, and any other forms of discrimination in its work.

ZEF rejects all actions which could incite ethnic, religious, language or political conflict.

Our activities and objectives are in keeping with the Universal Human Rights Convention of 1948, and the Four Geneva Conventions of 1949.

The ZEF headquarters (HQ) is in Canada and country representative offices in Sweden, the USA, Australia and Afghanistan. ZEF may plan to open additional offices in other countries in the future.
